What the seal actually means.

Most directories list anyone who pays. This one does not. Here is exactly what we check before a trainer earns their place, laid out plainly, because a trust mark you cannot inspect is not a trust mark.

Part one Verified, by document
  • Level 3 qualification or above

A recognised personal training qualification, confirmed by certificate, not by tickbox.

  • Public liability insurance

Current cover, confirmed by policy document, and required to stay current for as long as they are listed.

Part two Reviewed, by a working trainer
  • Real coaching experience

A minimum of years actively training clients, coaching, not just certified, with the detail to back it up.

  • Client testimonials

Multiple testimonials with names and substance, read and weighed by us for the ring of truth.

  • How they coach

Every applicant writes about their real clients and how they would handle real situations. Experience shows. So does its absence.

  • A personal conversation

Shortlisted trainers speak with our founder before any decision is final. You cannot interview your way past a trainer who does the job every day.

  • A signed declaration

Every trainer confirms their answers are honest and that nothing in their history puts a client at risk.

The test is simple.

If a trainer is not good enough for us to send our own clients to, they do not go on the index. Listings are reviewed annually, and the seal is withdrawn if the standard is not kept.
